In response to Amazon's new Inbound Placement Fee, SellerChain has developed a customized shipment mode feature to better suit your requirements.
This feature can be accessed in step (7) after selecting your plan during the shipment creation process.
Both of these options will require your settings to be configured on Seller Central as 'Amazon Optimized Shipment Splits.' To check if this setting is updated, please click here.
Regular Mode.
This involves going through the standard process of creating shipments through SellerChain. If your Inbound Settings are updated on Seller Central, you won't see any fees initially.
It's important to note that Amazon only charges fees 45 days after receiving the shipment, and since that has not yet happened, we're unsure of what the fees would look like as of now, although it's unlikely you will see any.
If you would prefer not to take this chance of potentially encountering a fee after the 45 days, we have created an alternative option.
Compliance Mode.
By choosing compliance mode, you ensure adherence to Amazon's rules, thereby reducing the risk of charges compared to the regular method.
Here's how it works: if Amazon splits your shipment into four locations, you can designate the main location to receive all your items. Our system then automatically selects the SKU with the lowest quantity for the remaining three shipments (though you can opt for a different item if preferred), all of which Will Need to be sent.
To optimize this process, we recommend including an additional item in the shipment with a quantity of 1. This ensures that the extra item will be selected for the other shipments, minimizing the need to send excessive additional items.
