What is a "Ship-From Address?

The Ship-From Address is the address from where the shipment will be shipped from. This may include your warehouse, 3PL, or port of entry. The Ship-From Address affects which fulfillment center the shipment is going to.

How do I add a Ship-From Address?

Check this guide on adding a Ship-From Address.

Can I change my Ship-From Address?

The Ship-From address can be changed on Seller Chain or Seller Central after the shipment plan is created.

Click the back button at the top left to go back to the previous page, "Pick a Ship-From Address".

Select either from the "Ship-From Address" or the "System saved address". Once a new address is selected, you can create the shipment with the new address or press  "Search for new FC" to generate a plan using that new address.

System saved addresses

Seller Chain provides system-saved addresses, a list of addresses you can use if needed.

Scenario: I am shipping standard-sized goods from China but Amazon is sending the shipment all the way to New York

Solution: In this case, the Ship from address is China as well as the port of entry. Use the address of the port of entry as the ship-from address.
